Logistics & Delivery

Here at EPD Insulation Group, our Logistics Team are second to none. They work closely with the Sales Department, so orders can be agreed and scheduled straight away. This is part of our USP (Unique selling Point), to achieve next day deliveries for our customers; we understand time is of the essence. We plan ahead and liaise with customers – especially on large orders – to make sure everything goes to plan on the delivery day.

Logistics works closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure our loads are planned to be cost effective, and loaded in such a way so it can be unloaded in a safe and speedy manner. We offer a range of 6 different delivery vehicles, from articulated lorries to 3.5ton flatbed vans.

We have a wide range of flatbed lorries – which come with a Moffett offload as standard, or if requested, materials can be pre-slung for a crane offload method. All our drivers are highly experienced on a Moffett so whether it’s a delivery to a site or down a tight lane, we can deliver!

Our range of flatbed vans also offer access to those hard to reach areas. Also, if you’ve under ordered and need those extra couple of sheets for example, we will still aim for these to be delivered on our outstanding next day delivery service. If you need an ETA for your order, just call the office and this information can be obtained within a few seconds, so you will not be left waiting around on the phone or waiting on a call back. Coming soon, there will be a tracking service which will send you an ETA when the order is dispatched and will then update throughout the day once the driver gets closer to the destination.

All our vehicles are fitted with a tracking system, so we always know where your order is. EPD Insulation Group covers a 41,000 square mile area on a daily basis, and complete approximately 200 customer orders a day so you could say we always ‘go that extra mile’ for our customers.
